The sun has finally decided to come out and play! I’m loving these sunny days that we have been having in Seattle. I’m looking forward to drinking more ice coffees and maybe … maybe even dusting off my flip flops!
As the weather gets nicer, I get to shoot outdoors more often, and that even includes executive headshots that typically (for me), are shot indoors at an office, usually in a conference room. On this particular day, I met up with Jacqui at the Washington Park Arboretum, one of my favorite spots.
I wanted to have an interesting background but at the same time, I didn’t want to distract the focus away from Jacqui. I found a nice spot near a foot bridge. I liked it so much that we spent most of our time shooting in that small area.
I love the colors of the grass and trees but I couldn’t help but converting some into black and white.
